My cat isn't eating

My 5 year old cat suddenly has stopped eating. She throws up sometimes yellow thick liquid, two times a day or so. She has hard yellow poop in the litter box.. so I'm guessing she's constipated ? Not sure but she's getting thinner. She does drink water, she's a very finicky calico cat . Could it be the food? UTI ?
thanks

Hi well it doesn't sound like a UTI however the symptoms are rather general and so difficult to pin down to a particular illness.
However due to the weight loss alone I would recommend a trip to the vets any way. This could be a sign of an underlining illness such as diabetes, thyroid issues or even severe hair balls. However the only way to know and treat accurately is to have her examined by a vet.
i hope she is better soon
best wishes Kate
