how much hair does a cat lose between fall and winter if a cat is real hairy can it be a lot or just a little

Cats moult all the time but loss more in the summer when the temperature increases.

the amount lost depends on the cats fur density. There should be no signs of baldness though.

Keeping a cat well groomed will help prevent things like hairballs forming and making your cats sick or from matts forming on the skin.
