My cat makes a noise when she is stroked

My cat meows everytime i stroke her or touch her like a MMMMMMM!!! sound why does she do this?

Either it is just a habit she does whenever she is stroked or she may be in some slight discomfort when you stroke her.
It is very difficult for me to say whether or not this is a involuntary noise she makes or whether it is caused by pain etc.

As her owner i think you are better placed to know if the sound seems distressed or not.

Hopefully it is just a sound of pleasure from being stroked.
