My Cat seems to be choking but nothing comes up

Several times a day my cat seems to heave, like he is choking, but nothing is coming up. It wears him out and it happens several times within a day. I brush him daily, vaccum to keep hair away from him...Not sure what to do!

Please help!!

well if he has digested some hair anyway this may have formed into a hairball which he is trying to heave up.

Sometimes this does take a few days and in some cases it may need help from a vet if it is particularly large.

If there is still no change a few more days then i would suggest that he may need to see a vet. As he will either need some help with the hairball or it may be caused by something else entirely.
