my cat tail hurts

My cat topper today is very strange. Hes not himself and when i went to go pet him, i noticed that his tail is down. I bet him from head to tail and when i went for his tail he started crying like he was in alot of pain! what do i do?

well it sounds to me like he has definitely hurt his tail in some way. hopefully it may just be a bruise but you can't be sure and the only way is to get the vet to take a look to see if he has fractured it or not.

your cat is obviously in some discomfort and or pain and so the vet will be able to give him something for that at the very least.
