My cats beig sick every day!

Hi my cats 11 years old and for the past couple of weeks ive awakened to a lovely pile of cat sick on my carpet. He seems generally okay but he will just randomly get up and start retching and coughing. Hes still eating alot and he is still very active. He's a big cat, rather chubby and hasn't lost any weight. However he has started to scratch himself on the top of his head so bad he is pulling the hair out.

what could be wrong with my cat?
please help i'm very worried!

Cat hairballs can cause problems for some cats so it is important that you help your cat out during the molting months by grooming them regulaly.

The scratching on the head could be caused by ear mites but equally could be caused by anxiety, which may be due to the fact that the at is not feeling well.

in cased like this where the sickness has been going on for some time your only real option is to have your cat checked out by a vet.
