Brownie is always inside my house sleeeping & purring I had a question about that. Why do they purr? My other cat Tinker bell recently had babies & Brownie is related to them & he never growls at them, but Butter does & I found her a couple of mon ths ago in the street... Why do big cats hate new born kitties?

Well Liz purring can mean several things. I have a page on this site about cat meowing and other noises, you will find it under Cat behavior section.

I'm not sure what you mean as to why bug cats hate kittens. They don't nas far i am aware of. Any aggression shown is due to territory and competition from other cats ans is a natural reaction.
