my cats first heat

my female cat is in heat and yesterday she had some leakage,i know it's gross, i don't know if it was from her butt or the other, but is this normal? she is appr. 6 months old any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you julie

no this is normal. the only time to worry is if it is excessive or is a thick yellow of greeny colour in which case their could be an infection and would need vet care.
