My female cat is looking after our new kitten why?

I have to female cats ages 5 and 6. We recently got two male kittens age 10 weeks. One of my female cats wanted nothing to do with these kittens. She would hiss and swat at them quite often. All of a sudden she is acting like their mom or something. She follows them around constantly and sleeps with them and is just always by their side. She also likes to give them a bath. This seems odd to me since a few days ago she wanted nothing to do with them. Any reason why she is acting so strange?

Hi
It is probably a simple case of getting to know them and relaxing with them.

Also instinct can kick in even f she is spayed. As they are so young her maternal instinct has probably taken over.

I dont think there is anything to worry about.
