my kitten doesnt mew

Hi there, Ive told you about my new kitten Angel - well, shes fine except she doesnt mew, she purrs al the time, eats and drinks normally, plays, has had her first vaccination at our vet and he said alls well. So, why on earth doesnt she mew, she doesnt even attempt to. The ones Ive had fromkittens have all mewed- Im getting concerned now, can anyone help. She didnt even mew when I accidentally stepped on her tail the other day, just gave me a dirty look.

well what can I say, some cats just don't. I have two brother cats one who does mew and one who doesn't or rarely does. I think it is purely down to personality and she may possibly been taken away from her litter early an never picked up the behavior.

i wouldn't worry too much as long as she is fine in every other way.
