my kitten gets pee on herself

i have a 4mth old kitten which ive had for five days now, ive noticed when she uses the litter box she gets urine all overherself and always smells also she is not eating much just one mouthful here and there. i seen her just lying in her litter tray today doing noithing. the breeder said i can return her if im not happy, i would like to know is this behaviour normal or is she sick?

the first thing you need to do if you got a kitten from a breeder is to take her to see a vet as soon as possible for a complete health check. You have no way of knowing if this kitten has any health problems and it is always advisable to know from the start what you are dealing with.

kittens from rescue centers would have had a health check before they are re homed.

The symptoms you describe are rather general and could just be part of the settling in process which can take a little time but as i say it is recommend that you have her checked over by a vet to be on the safe side.
