my male cat is trying to mate with another male cat

my male cats are not neutered and my older male cat is 4 and he keeps holding my other male cat down by the fur on his kneck what does this mean? both of my cats are indoor cats should i need to get them neutered?

yes I would definitely do this. even though they cannot get out and cause pregnancies your cats are still full of all the male hormones which can cause aggression, frustration and other issues.

I would say that once they are both neutered they will calm down and this sort of behavior will stop.
