my poor kitty has me really worried

my cat is darting around and acting as if he is scared at times his ears are quite warm and his eyes are alway dilated and he bites the end of his tail what can this be / he is eating and has good weight but we re really worried ! im so worried about him we have had him and bottle fed hm since he was sonly a few days old ! thank you tricia

There could be a number of reasons for this behavior from a skin allergy or parasite problem which is causing him to feel itchy. this can makes cats very skittish and run around like this. or he may be feeling scared by something ie a new cat in the area or strange smell etc.

i always recommend a trip to the vets whenever a cats behavior changes dramatically like this and goes on for a more than a day or so.

it is important that they are checked out to make sure that the cat is not in any pain or discomfort before you can consider anything else which could be causing this behavior.
