My Spencer

Hi
All of my cats are rescues, which after reading several others in here is very common. HOORAY for us!! What a statement this makes. We know how special and wonderful our "kidz" are!!!
My baby boy, Spencer, is no different. He was meant to be part of my family after being terribly abused in a family of 9 cats.
The place where these poor babies lived was headed by a raging alcoholic heroin addict. Whenever he didn't feed his addictions, he took it out on these brave tolerant beautiful kittens and cats. His wife, who claimed to love them, did finally call a friend of mine, who in turn called me. I went out there and picked up all the kittens and insisted that she get her 2 grown cats fixed. She did that but wouldn't let me take them. They were better able to avoid him in his rage. (By the way, he over-dosed 3 months later and died)
I was able to place 6 others in terrific homes and kept him. Spencer is one of the most loving kitties I have ever had the pleasure to know. Everything is wonderful to him and he approaches life that way. I am so lucky to have him in my life.
This is Spencer a month after I found him. He gained at least a pound.
