My two year old cat seems sick,

My cat is two years old and hasn't been spayed. She just went through heat and now she is lethargic and has been loosing weight. When i pet her near her haunches she hisses and growls at me. Is it because she hasn't had been spayed and hasn't had sex? What should I do?

no this is not normal at all and would suggest that she is in some pain or discomfort. She needs to see a vet. There may be some physical injury or an internal infection.

having her spayed has many benefits despite not having to go through heat such as preventing conditions like mammary and uterine cancer in the future.
