Neutered malle cat still humping

Is it normal for my male cat that has been neuter to hump on everything including other fixed male cats? I'm afraid his procedure was not done properly.

If he was neutered recently then his hormone levels may not have dropped yet and so this would cause him to still have all the same urges.

Also some cats will carry this behavior from time to time due to instinct. I have seen this before but it is usually rare and does not happen that much.

The urge can be so strong that male cats will try to mate with any other cat and so this is why sometimes they try it on with other male cats (human arms and legs also sometimes come under fire)

If you are concerned about your cat it may be wise to have him checked by a vet. If he does still have excessive hormone levels or an imbalance then the vet can treat for this.
