Well, 2 days ago, i got my 13 month male cat neutured. he is an inside outside cat. i thought he would be trying to relax to try to heal, but instead he wont stop crying at the door, and i mean he will do it non stop until we let him out. i was wondering if this is normal or what because the vet said he would calm down and wouldnt roam as much and whatnot but he is worse, please help me i am kinda worried about him. and yesterday we let him out and i had to go outside shakin the treat bag for a good 4 hours for him to come runnnig back.

Hi
No don't worry this is completely normal. A ccat which is used to going outside will crave to go out. Mine do which always makes it difficult when he is sick and needs to stay in for a day or so.

Your cat will calm down eventually but he will always want to go outside, he just wont wander so far or be so territorial.

After neutering it can take several weeks for the hormone levels to reduce anyway.

best wishes kate
