non stop crying cat

i have a 21 y.o. female cat. she has a bad limp but otherwise seems healthy.


the problem is when anyone is around she crys non stop. she does not cry much otherwise. she eats well and eats a lot actually.

This sounds just like attention seeking to me. She has learned over the years that meowing gets her attention. be it food, strokes, playtime or even just spoken too.

At 21 she is a very old cat and so she may also have some age related conditions such as eye sight problems etc. In which case they can become more vocal anyway as they are seeking reassurance.
