Thanks Leigh,
Its good to know that all my hard work has paid off and people are finding useful information on the site to help them look after their cats.
Theres more to it than you think isn't there and I am constantly having to learn from my cats still to this day.
Hope you come by and visit us again soon
best wishes kate

Thank you Kate for such a quick reply to my stray cat question. I love your site and enjoyed reading about Mo. I though you were British when I read the word "cheeky"..something my husband would say as he is British. We adopted a dog from Battersea - what a wonderful place that is! We are now in the US with our "London" jack russell Molly. Thanks for this site - it is wonderful!

I "googled" feline euthanasia yesterday, as the time had come to put Shadow to sleep. She was almost 17, and I rescued her 14 years, 1 month, and 3 days ago. I found your site and the gem called "Friend-to-Friend". Today, before I took Shadow to the vet's, I read her that poem. I also sent it to all my family and friends, as they have been following our journey together. Shadow survived 3 cancers (one of which took her right eye), but ultimately, her kidneys began to fail in late January, and she didn't want to eat. As I am typing this, it is somewhat cathartic, but I miss her so much.
Thank you for the site, and for the anonymous composer of the beautiful poem.

I really appreciate your quick response! My cat is seeing the vet bright and early in the morning! You have a lot of dedication and if I had the time and knowledge you have, I would do something like this as well! Keep up the great work!
