Our kitten acts tired

We have a very energetic 5 month old male tabby. He went from wild man to tired. He eats real good, drinks real good. Uses the bathroom as always.No fever or anything. He just wants to eat and sleep. He still responds and is very alert when awake. but he just sits all day and sleeps in between eating and using the bathroom. He doesn't act in pain or anything. How can a very playful energetic kitten do this all of sudden. He has been like this for 1 1/2 days now?

well i wouldn't worry too much. It may just be that he is feeling slightly under the weather. Just like us cats can catch little bugs and have tummy upsets from time to time which will sort themselves out in a few days.

just keep an eye on him for a few more days, i would not be surprised if he is back to his usual self in a few days time. If not then take him to see the vets in case there is some underlying illness involved.

I have two young cats and they can have days of just sleeping followed by lots of activity so i wouldn't worry too much at this stage.
