Pet owner worried

I noticed live worms coming out of my female cats rectum. I bought some Pro-Pet liquid dewormer and gave her the recommended dose yesterday. She is passing dead worms now but also white pus looking stuff coming out her rectum. Can't afford a vet. She acts like nothing is wrong. She eats and drinks. I cleaned her up. She had it all over back paws and tail. I pushed gently on her tummy and a little bit more came out. I am very concerned. What is wrong? I wormed my other cats and none of them did this. Please help me?

Hi
often white liquid like this suggests an infection has occurred. this may have been caused by the worms if her infestation was bad.

my advice would be to keep her clean and make sure she gets plenty of fresh water to drink over the next few days. If it does not clear up or gets worse or if she starts to display other signs of illness then unfortunately the vet is the only option as she may need antibiotics which are only available from the vets.

i hope it clears up by itself and that she is back to her old self again soon

best wishes kate
