pooping cat

We moved exatly a month ago. Our 3 year old cat did well through the move- no issues. Just the past 2 days the cat has pooped in the carpet. Her litter box is clean, she is fed and has water. What could be the cause?

It is impossible to say really what the problem could be, sometimes the tiniest change can cause a cat to carry out this sort of behavior. The problem is called Middening and I have a page here o the site which you may find of more help.
