Pregnant cat with blood clot

My cat of about 2 1/2 years was pregnant and has been pregnant before, i found her in the bathroom with a blood clot looking thing out on the floor and she had been bleeding... i put her in a bed and gave her water.. but later that day i found her dead..

any reasons why?

I am sorry but it would be impossible to say exactly what caused the death of your cat without a full examination of the body and only a vet could do this.
