scared kitten

i have a 6 week old kitten she was born here at my house and hes so use to every body in my house but yesturday he went missing and we found him under the couch he was missing for about 12 hours and now hes very tired and his breathing goes from heavy to normal and he cries bad when he is put down is this normal or should we take him to the vet

my answer is if in doubt alway always take them to the vet. Kittens can get sick very quickly and go down hill fast if not treated early, so considering his age I really think it is better to be safe than sorry.

Lets hope it is nothing serious and that he will be back to his old self a gain soon.
