MY cat is about 6-7 years old i got him at a shelter, he has been fixed. he is very anti social. however, he has been fine up till about 3 weeks ago. now he throws up at leat 4 times a day. and when i say throw up i mean it sprays all over. not throwing up hairballs, this is food then when there is nothing left in his stomach just water. my husband says he has gallstones. if this does not let up soon i'm afraid we will have to get rid of him. i really don't want to do this. is there any way i can help him?

I'm not sure if I understand correctly or not. You say you don't know what to do. I am therefore assuming that you have taken this poor sick cat to the vets and that they have been unable to help.

If that is not the case then that is the first course of action you should take. As there is no real way to know what is causing the sickness without a proper diagnosis.

All i can do is point you to my page about cat vomiting.

I hope you can find out what is wrong with him soon as it must be very distressing to your cat too.
best wishes Kate
