strange cat behavior

My cat Pandora is 16 months old. She has been fixed and had the necessary shots. Lately she has been acting strangely. She used to love playing with and cuddling my other cat and now she has started acting aggressively toward the other cat. Also, for the past couple of weeks, at night she has started howling at the door to get out (shes an inside cat) and meowing loudly, hissing, and growling at me when I try to pick her up. What could be wrong with her?

This is a difficult one to answer as there could be so many reasons why your cat has changed her behavior.
It could simply be that as she has got older she has become bored with her environment and is taking her frustrations out on you and the other cat. Cats are very intelligent animals and need a lot of activity and stimulation in their lives to keep them happy. After all in the wild they would be hunting, chasing, climbing etc.
Try to make her environement more interesting for her, see my page here about indoor cats and also my page about cat playing etc. Also check out my cat supplies and toys pages to get some ideas of the sort of things available that will help to keep your cat amused.
