tom cats

i have a year old tom cat who left two days ago and we havnt seen him since. this is not normal for him what do u think could be the reason he is gone

Hi well if he is a complete tom cat ie not neutered then I would say that he is probably out looking for mates. This is normal behavior for tom cats and they can be gone for some time.

However if you are concerned you could start to put signs up etc to see if anyone has seen him. Please see this page for more advice on finding lost cats.
