Whats wrong with my cat

My cat has been crying a lot lately and has his tail pointed down, he tried jumping on the couch but cried and gave up... I was wondering what was wrong with him, We are taking him to the vet but i wanted to ask on here before hand.

i'm sorry but it is impossible for me to say what could be wrong. His symptoms could suggest many things and without a full examination is impossible to diagnose.

You are doing the best thing by taking him to the vets, i wish more owners would do this sooner like you .
