yuck, white stuff coming from cats rear end

I have noticed that sometimes when I pick up my cat or he gets squeezed a little that his butt oozes this very smelly white liquid. So now I tend to not pick him up. He is a little heavy but he is not over weight. He loves to eat, he even eats the dogs dry dogfood. Could that be the reason??

Ooh I don't like the sound of that. he may have impacted anal glands or even an infection in that area. I would really go and get this checked out by vet.

Cats are very good at covering up discomfort etc and there should certainly not be anything like this coming from his rear end. I'm sure it is something the vet will be able to diagnose and treat easily.
